The short version
Big Interview is an interview-training platform: a large library of questions and video lessons, recorded practice, and AI feedback that leans on delivery (pace, filler words, eye contact, body language). Relaunch is a job-search coach that starts earlier, with your resume and whether you fit a specific job, and its interview practice is built around the next question: after you answer, the interviewer follows up on what you actually said.
| Big Interview | Relaunch | |
|---|---|---|
| Interview practice | Recorded video answers, or a voice-only phone-screen format, with AI feedback on things like pace, filler words, eye contact and body language | Type or speak your answer. The interviewer asks a follow-up about what you said, out loud in one of six voices if you like, then tells you what worked and what to fix |
| Where the questions come from | A library of real-world questions by industry, role and seniority, plus personalised questions from your resume or a job description | Your resume and the job description, for the conversation you are preparing for: pre-screen, hiring manager, case study or final |
| Follow-up questions | Not mentioned on the pages we read | Yes. Every answer you practise can get one, and you can answer again starting from your own words |
| Your resume | A score across readability, credibility, format and ATS fit, and AI helpers that generate summaries, bullet points and skills lists | A review that says what to fix first and what to leave alone, and a coach that asks about your work. Nothing is added that you did not say |
| Price | $39 for 30 days, $99 for 3 months, or $299 for lifetime access. 30-day refund | Free account to start. Then $29.99 for 90 days, paid once and never renewed, or $9.99 a month (CAD in Canada, USD in the US). 7-day refund |
| Who it is sold to | Individuals, and also universities, career centres, workforce agencies and companies | Individuals. Career coaches and employment services use it with the people they support |

Where Big Interview is strong
If you want to see yourself on video and work on how you come across on camera, Big Interview is built for that, and its lessons cover a lot of ground. It is also sold widely through schools and career centres, so you may already have access through one.
Where Relaunch is different
Real interviews rarely stop at your first answer. The follow-up is where a vague answer comes apart, so Relaunch puts it in every practice: you answer, the interviewer asks what a real one would ask next, and the feedback is about what you said, not how you looked saying it. Your next attempt starts from your own words, so you can see what changed.
Relaunch also covers the steps before the interview: a review of your resume, a plain verdict on whether you fit a specific job, and changes you approve one at a time. It never writes an answer for you.
Which one to use
If video practice and body-language feedback are what you need, Big Interview has more of it. If you want practice built from your own resume and the job, with a follow-up on every answer, and help with the application before that, that is what Relaunch is for.
